Holds everything pretty nice and neat, I can fit my hand tools, bits and drivers, adapters and various little things. Good enough bag that I felt inclined to review. I’m about a month and a half into jobsite use, installing and servicing residential HVAC systems. Like me he is tired of spending $65+ dollars every year on tool bags. He followed me out to my truck and took a picture of my new bag and couldn’t wait to get home and do some shopping. He’s been in the trades for over 25 years. He ask me what I was mailing and I got to tell him about Veto. When I went to the Fedx store to send back my old bag to Veto, I ran into an friend that I hadn’t seen in years. I’m hooked and will be a Veto customer for life…. They worked with me and sent out a replacement in just a few days. I had a issue with my bag and Veto’s warranty was outstanding.

After about a week using the bag I understood what my friend was talking about how a high quality tool bag would make all the difference in the world. But I was so tired of buying a new tool bag very 18 months or less that I pulled the trigger. I did get sticker shock when I saw the price tag. When a friend told me about Veto I went home and found a local dealer online. I’m a mobile bicycle mechanic/product assembler and have a lot of money invested in my tools. This bag has made me realize that the tool bag you use is just as important as the tools you put in it. I purchased my Tech LC bag about three years ago in 2015.

If you have to work hard to close your zipper(s), your tool bag is most likely overstuffed… proceed with caution! Download The Product Sheet of Tech LC Overstuffing your tool bag will very likely cause significant stress on the zippers that is above and beyond what the bag was built for and will eventually cause the zipper(s) to separate. Make sure to keep the sharp edges of your tools facing down in your bag and away from the zipper coils. Most of the cut zipper coils we see are the result of sharp tools stored inside the bag with the sharp side facing up. Once a zipper coil is cut or singed the zipper will not function and in most cases is not repairable. Protect the Zippers From Sharp Objects and/or Excessive HeatĪny sharp object or heat source is capable of permanently damaging the zippers. To lubricate the coils: Apply a silicone spray, beeswax or a zipper lubricant. After scrubbing the coils, blow them out with an air hose to dislodge any other fine grit that didn’t dislodge with the brush. To clean the coils: Scrub them with soapy water a tooth brush works very well. To keep this from happening, clean and lubricate your zippers twice a year (more often if you work on a job site with a high amount of airborne debris). Over time, dirt and grit will “clog” the zipper coils preventing them from staying closed.
